A 2-part, high-strength, thixotropic structural adhesive for SPM and IPM bonding.
LOCTITE® EA 3425 is a white to yellow (after mixing) epoxy structural adhesive system that offers high impact and high humidity resistance and very high shear strength of 27 N/mm². Its thixotropic nature makes it easy to apply and reduces liquid migration after application, making it ideal for gap-filling (up to 3 mm) and use on vertical surfaces. It’s typically used for surface permanent magnet (SPM) and interior permanent magnet (IPM) bonding where high production cycling is required. LOCTITE EA 3425 cures at room temperature when exposed to RT, heat or induction and exhibits a high modulus of elasticity and good chemical resistance.
